From what I understand of your position, since you support voluntary homosexual relationships (two people who love one another),

Then you support voluntary incestuous relationships (a brother & sister or a father & daughter [of age] who love one another).

Also you support pre-marital adulterous relationships (i.e. fornication) in which an adult man and a woman love one another.

As Christians we must with loving compassion and gentleness speak the truth in saying that homosexual relationships are not right in the eyes of God.

Love & truth – the biblical combination. I think it's the only way to approach this sensitive situation. We do it with much love (gentleness & compassion in speech & manner), but we also never sacrifice the truth. Bless you.

Adultery involved the breaking of a bond and commitment between two people who previously made a commitment to each other. It is an act of betrayal against the innocent spouse. It is an act of betrayal against any children that might have been produced by the marriage.

Homosexuality involves to willing persons who deeply love each other the same way a man and woman would.

For you to say that Incest does not usually involve coercion shows a great deal of ignorance. How do I know? Believe me, I’ve personally heard dozens of stories of victims of incest and none have ever done it willingly.

Please explain to me how a father can have sex with his 8-year old daughter is not coercion. Please explain how a teenage brother having sex with his 10-year old sister is not coercion. Even an uncle seducing a teenage niece or nephew, rarely does the victim ever do it willingly.

The worse part is that the perpetrator can often convince/coerce his victim into a “marriage.”

My advice to you is before you make strong statement like that, do as Christ said. Be salt and light in the world, talk to some gays and get to know them personally. Spend time with victims of sexual sin. You’ll find more than a “sinner”. You’ll see the some “lost” person that Jesus saw when he would minister to the individual.

Homosexuality should be placed then in the same category as adultery and incest.

As Christians we must speak the truth (in love of course). This means that we affirm that:

1. Adulterous relationships are wrong.
2. Incestuous relationships are wrong.
3. Homosexual relationships are wrong.

And we must do out best in affirming all three at the same time.
